William R. Carlson

William Carlson joined the Law Offices of Joseph J. Barlupo in January of 2015.  Mr. Carlson received his JD, Cum Laude, from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2002, and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a specialization in Business Administration from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1998.

Mr. Carlson practiced law in the Bay Area for ten years including criminal law with the Contra Costa County Public Defender’s Office, workers compensation defense with Cipolla and Calaba, and civil litigation with Phillips, Spallas & Angstadt.  In 2013, Mr. Carlson moved to Stockton and gained additional civil and business litigation experience with Herum\Crabtree\Suntag.

Mr. Carlson’s experience in civil, criminal and administrative courts of law, including trying several cases to verdict, provide the background for his sound judgment, “big picture” analysis, and favorable outcomes for his clients. When he is out of the office, Mr. Carlson enjoys golf, poker, backgammon, and spending time with his family.
